Beth Duncan Quartet / Prelude Music For Crocker Summer Jazz Series on the Cafe Stage, 216 O Street, Sacramento, CA

The Crocker’s  Summer Jazz Series continues on Thursday, August 22nd in their outdoor courtyard.

This summer’s prelude music will be provided by the Beth Duncan Quartet on the Café Stage from 5:30 to 6:15 PM.  Beth on vocals with Steve Homan on guitar, Matt Robinson on bass & Jeff Minnieweather on drums. 

In big-band style, Peter Petty & His Titans of Terpsichore along with special guests take on songs like Glenn Miller’s “Chatanooga Choo Choo” and Billy Strayhorn’s “Take the A Train” in this rocking performance celebrating the Crocker’s summer exhibition The Race to Promontory: The Transcontinental Railroad and The American West. 

Along with the concert, attendees can enjoy all the Museum has to offer, including special exhibitions, gallery talks, the Museum Store, and dinner and drinks at the Crocker Cafe by Supper Club. For the best seat in the house, bring your own chair. There is limited seating provided, standing room to mingle, and plenty of space to dance. Please, no outside food or beverages (excluding water).
